You are the entire ocean in a drop.”

Psychotherapy

The journey inward can be deeply rewarding.

The best therapy centers around helping you to create a safe space to explore difficult questions. The purpose here is not just to change old habits and patterns, but to understand their meaning. Unlike more directive therapies, this approach allows you to take the lead in pondering the road to change – your pace, your questions, your journey.

Individual Counseling
One-on-one sessions to explore your feelings, early life experiences, and any personal difficulties you are currently facing.
Couples Counseling
Joint sessions for you and your partner aimed at improving your relationship by resolving underlying problems and increasing intimacy.
Grief & Loss
Individual sessions to facilitate and aid recovery from the loss of a loved one, and to help establish healthy coping skills in times of crisis.
Trauma/PTSD Counseling
Individual and group sessions exploring trauma with a focus on how shame, hypervigilance, dissociation, and PTSD affect survivors in daily life.
Chronic Pain
Psychologists have long known that patients with chronic pain, especially primary or centralized pain, have elevated rates of anxiety, depression, and trauma. We know that traumatic events and PTSD often show up first in the body with migraines, joint and muscle pain, digestive troubles, sexual disinterest or aversion extreme allergic reactions, insomnia, and the like. We also understand the co-occurrence of trauma with diagnoses like Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Trauma often drives pain and if you are suffering, our clinicians are ready to gently help you to explore and gain control of your pain.
